I submitted GFolio 1.4.3 to the App Store on April 1st, so it should be live in the App Store in a few days. This update fixes the annoying “please rate me!” reminder – the reminder was designed to pop up only once after a certain time period, but a bug causes it to show every time the app launches. I apologize for this inconvenience, as soon as the app is updated, the problem should disappear.
In regards to comments, specifically international profiles; I’ve been testing some securities in currencies other than the U.S. Dollar, and it seems like the Google Finance engine is converting these values to the U.S. Dollar (using the current conversion rate). I will look into this more concretely in the 1.5 release.
As for showing current value and percent change, there is simply not enough room… when the iPhone is vertical. The 1.5 release will show the current value and percent change when it is put sideways in “landscape mode.”
